“The Albany County Land Bank is deeply committed to fostering meaningful community engagement through comprehensive and inclusive outreach strategies. Our mission to revitalize neighborhoods and create opportunities for all residents requires authentic connection with the diverse communities we serve.

Moving forward, we will be ending our presence on Twitter as the platform no longer aligns with our organizational values. This decision reflects our commitment to communication channels that promote respectful dialogue, accurate information, and equitable access. While we can’t control comments people may make, we can control the platforms that we use to engage with people in a manner that matches our values.”

The Albany County Land Bank is committed to high-quality community engagement through:

  • Enhanced presence at neighborhood meetings and local events

  • Regular public forums for direct feedback and collaboration

  • Multilingual materials and outreach to ensure all community members can participate

  • Partnerships with trusted community organizations and leaders

  • Accessible digital platforms that prioritize inclusive design and respectful discourse

  • Regular newsletters and updates through multiple communication channels

Our commitment to transparent, responsive, and inclusive community engagement remains unwavering. We invite all community members to connect with us through our website, community events, and other social media platforms as we work together to build stronger, more vibrant neighborhoods.”

The Land Bank will continue to engage with the community through its website, newsletters, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
